Coco, our Hero
Our Frenchie, Coco, died today. It was unexpected. She had just given birth to three adorable puppies three days ago. She seemed fine postpartum until early this morning. She couldn't stand up anymore and looked frail. We rushed her to the vet but unfortunately, we didn't make it on time. It was truly a heartbreaking experience. However, after all the cries and wails that Tali and I shared, we both realized one thing...we were to be blamed. We were negligent. We are not good dog owners. Tali mentioned earlier that she realized that there's more to it than just playing with the dogs. It takes a whole lot of responsibility to be a pet owner. They are not just like toys. She admitted that she was like that towards all our dogs. We had 5 dogs BTW...well, now we have 7 dogs (2 English Bulldogs, 1 Maltese, 1 Bichon Frise and 3 mixed breed puppies (Coco's babies with a random dog)).
